Gloria Naomi (Miller) Anderson
August 26, 1941 – November 12, 2025
Gloria Naomi Anderson, 84, of Richton Park, Illinois, received her Wings on November 12, 2025. Born on August 26, 1941, in Shannon, Mississippi, to the late J.D. and Minnie Miller.
Gloria lived a life filled with love, service, and faith.
Gloria, a proud graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and Governors State University, dedicated her career to teaching in Ford Heights School District 169, where she inspired generations of students. Even after retirement, she continued tutoring because teaching was not just her profession—it was her passion.
Gloria was a devoted member of The Word Worship Center, serving faithfully as a Deaconess and loved missionary work. She cherished her family, her sisters and brothers, and her many dear friends. She loved to visit and talk on the phone.
She is survived by her loving husband, Freddie Anderson; daughters, Charletta (Rogers) Frazier and Tanjuria (Greg) Willis; three grandchildren, Camille Frazier, Xavier Frazier and Greer Willis; four sisters, Ruby Lee, Unita Cooper, Evelyn Miller Reed, Beatrice Miller (Lawrence) Brown and two brothers J.D. Miller, Jr. (Veria) and Theortrice (Shirley) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Herbert Miller who died at birth and Jim Earl Miller.
