Maritza Valentin passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service to her family and the Lord.
Born on April 4, 1960, in Cali, Colombia, Maritza was the beloved daughter of Daniel Ramirez and Maria Lilia Perez. She trained as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) before her marriage to Caleb Valentin. With deep devotion, she set aside her nursing career to dedicate herself fully to raising and caring for her four children and supporting her husband.
Maritza was a woman whose steps were ordered by the Lord. Her life embodied a unique calling, not to be served, but to serve. She was a pronouncer of the ways of the Lord, speaking words of encouragement to those who grew weary, calling them to rise up and press on toward victory. God placed a sense of victory in her very soul, and she lived that truth every day.
Maritza is survived by her father, Daniel Ramirez, loving husband, Caleb Valentin; her children, Gina Jarta, Maritza Arnold, Joshua Valentin, and Daniel Valentin; her cherished grandchildren, Kai Jarta, Leland Jarta, and Isabella Arnold; her brothers, Edison Ramirez and Danny Ramirez; and all those whose lives she touched with her faith, warmth, and unwavering spirit.
Maritza has fought the good fight, finished her course, kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for her, a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, shall give her at that day (from 2 Tim. 4:7-8).
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
