Otis Roberts was born on July 10, 1937, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Roosevelt Roberts and Annie Lou Roberts. He departed this life on December 11, 2025, at the age of 88. Otis was a graduate of Bloom High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He dedicated over 45 years of service to Ford Motor Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Otis served honorably in the United States Army. Otis was united in holy matrimony to Bernice Dulaney on December 31, 1960. From this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt Roberts and Annie Lou Roberts and his siblings Maeola Mack, Harry Gene Roberts, Elvis Roberts, Howard Roberts, and Lorraine Antilla. Otis leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Bernice Roberts; three children, Cheryl Roberts-Haile (Eric), Otis Roberts (Khalisha), and Cherilyn Dabney (RJ); seven grandchildren, Christian Roberts, Kiari Roberts, Caleb Roberts, Bryce Brown, and Lizzie, Sonny, and Blake Dabney; one sister, Eva Lester; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, relatives, and friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to his devoted caregivers, Karen Booth, Bertha Barnard, Karlean Flannagan, Fontella Granderson, Cheryl Roberts-Haile, Christian Roberts, and Eric Smith, along with several others who provided care and support over the Years.
